What does the PTA do for our school?
Your Toluca Lake PTA supports our school with fundraising and enrichment activities!
We also seek donations of goods (office supplies) and services (for raffles and fundraisers) on behalf of the school and apply for corporate grants, so that we might free up their funds for other educational needs. If we can get paper or paper towels donated, the school doesn't have to spend their much needed money on them!
With the ever-shrinking school budgets, fundraising is more important than ever.

Some of our past achievements:
- Funded a Fifth Grade field trip to the House of Blues
- Paid for the service contract on the school’s two Duplo copy machines ($1,500.00)
- Donations of paper and school supplies
- Hosted a Teacher/Staff Appreciation breakfast and provided "Thank You" gifts to teachers (so they could choose educational materials for their classrooms)
- Each December we host the TLE Holiday Boutique, providing students the opportunity to purchase presents for their family at reasonable prices, and have them gift wrapped!
- Paid for servicing of the computer lab equipment
- Hosted lunch for volunteers at the annual Garden Party/School Clean Up Day

The PTA is a forum for exchanging ideas. Your membership can be a means to effectively suggest changes at our school and be involved in making them happen. If you care about what happens in our classrooms and on our campus, your PTA membership can give you the chance to be heard!

Through your involvement in the PTA, not only will you help your child and all children receive a better education, but you'll show your child how much YOU value education. You'll also be teaching your child about the importance of giving back to the community.
